Harry’s cafe in Spain closes for good

Harry’s in Spain is closing its doors after serving the city for almost 50 years.

The cafe’s cafe bar has been closed since March after owner Harry Potter was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer, the Los Angeles Times reports.

Harry’s was the oldest continuously operating restaurant in the world when it opened in 1924, but the chain is also known for its chocolate-covered ice cream, and its popular “snowflakes” and “chocolate sundae” ice cream.

Harrys was named Best Coffee in the U.S. by Time Magazine and Best Restaurant in the World by Fast Company.

It has been one of the most visited and frequented coffee shops in Spain.
