Marina Cafe, the pizza shop at the Marina in Pasay City, has been serving pizza since its opening in 2012.
Now it’s looking to make its Philippines debut.

Pizza has a lot of history in the Philippine island country,” Marina Cafe owner Luis Manuel said.
“We are going to have our first day opening today, and we are excited to have the Filipino community around us.”
The cafe is owned by local restaurateur, Luis “Pablo” Romero.
Romero said he started to eat at the shop after he visited the Philippines.
He was able to come across the store when he visited San Miguel de Allende, the capital of the island country.
“The idea was to offer a good experience for Filipinos, but also to offer the best food in the region,” Romero said.
The Filipino restaurant has three locations in the city, including one in the Marina.
Marina Cafe will also be opening a second location in Quezon City in the coming days.
Romero also said that the store will also have a Filipino staff.
“Our staff will be Filipino and the food will be authentic,” he said.
While the shop’s main focus is Filipino food, Romero said they also offer the customers an authentic Philippine cuisine.
“I don’t want to go into detail on what is Filipino here.
But I do want to emphasize that we offer the Filipino cuisine.
We have Filipino dishes,” he added.
The shop is owned and operated by Romero and his partner, Jose Maria, who was born in the country.
The couple opened the cafe in 2014.
The store has about 120 seats and is located in a residential neighborhood of the Marina area.
The restaurant has also received its first taste of international fame.
In March this year, the Manila Times named the cafe among the top ten restaurants in the world.
The Manila Times said that they had a group of foreign tourists come in for lunch and that the place was packed.
The newspaper also said the restaurant had a strong following among Filipino expats.
Marine Cafe has also seen a surge in popularity in the last two years.
Last year, Romero had over 50,000 followers on Instagram.
He has also created a social media campaign for the cafe, with a goal of reaching a million followers within five years.
