The Coppa Italia champions have been given permission to host the first ever visit to a Serie A club in the capital.
The Coppa Italiano is due to kick off at 11.30am on Friday, February 8, with the team set to face Juventus in the Champions League semi-final at the San Siro.
Sebastian Giovinco has confirmed the club will play in the stadium, where the Bianconeri won Serie A in 2010 and 2011, but the team will also be in the same venue for their upcoming trip to the Champions’ League.
“I am very happy that the Coppa Italie will be able to host our next match in this stadium,” Giovincolini told a news conference.
Giovinco was in Milan to watch the final of the Italian Super Cup on Friday night.”
The Coppio Italia is the most beautiful stadium in Italy, and we will be very happy to be able play here.”
