Aussie bobsled racer gets a visit from the Queen

Aussie cyclist Anne Marie Robinson has received a visit by the Queen from Queen Elizabeth II, the ABC reports.

The visit, at the Royal Botanic Gardens in Kent, comes after the Queen had her portrait taken in the gardens.

It is not yet clear whether the visit will be an official state visit.

The Queen is due to arrive in Perth on Monday for a state visit to Japan, the first time the royal family has visited Japan since World War II.

A visit to the Botanic Garden is one of the most important stops on the tour.

It has become a regular stop for tourists on the visit.
